As I prepared to write my first official post I was driven to create a dedication post. This blog is dedicated to six people who shaped my relationship with herbs. The first influence is my father. Since infancy my Dad has used his knowledge of nutrition to drive his education on herbs and using them as pillars in our diet and home wellness practices. Using homeopathy, herbal infusions, tinctures and so much more, my Dad has raised me on herbs. It’s why I lean first to use them whenever myself or a loved one experience a health challenge. The second influence is my Mom. As the cook of the home she shopped for healthy foods and exposed me and my siblings to fresh produce which helped my body remain rooted in the natural living. The third influence is my cousin who heavily advocated for me to follow Dr. Sebi. Rest in peace CUZ. The fourth influence is Dr. Sebi. His reputation speaks for itself. He will forever be one of the pioneers to put natural healing and herbs on the map for curing the most intense illnesses. Finally the fifth influence is my daughter. She came into this world during my season of heightened wellness. Since then she has experience health challenges that have inspired me to continue exploring natural remedies and learn about new herbs. She is also a nature baby. I love you Mai Mai. Thank you to all my inspirations.
