Do you ever just want a simple solution? There is one for deodorant. It’s affordable and all natural and it’s lemon! Someone introduced me to lemon as a deodorant and it sounded so simple I believe I took my sweet time trying it. You know some of us make our own life complicated (by some of us I mean me). So it took me a while but I eventually, while on my quest to a better deodorant, decided to give it a try. I cut a slice and rubbed it under each armpit and threw the slice in the trash of course. Would you know, it absolutely worked. It was that simple. Now here was where it got tricky, after a while (I don’t remember how long but upon writing this article I will start and experiment tomorrow to find out) it did cause some chaffing under my arms because well lemon is acidic. To combat this later on I tried juicing a fresh lemon and putting it in a spray bottle and refrigerating it. That worked and I don’t recall burning and chaffing but the juice did lose it’s freshness after while and stopped working so I needed a new batch. I don’t have an amount of time so I will try that after I do the slice experiment, and I will report back. However in the mean time if you need a natural solution that is affordable try it and let me know how it works. I had a friend buy bottled lemon juice and she said it also worked.
